Dr. Niazy Selim is well  recognized and respected for his contributions to the field of surgery. With 2 surgery residencies and 2 fellowship training, you can confidently trust his technique and surgical judgment. Dr, Selim graduated from the medical school at the University of Mansoura, EGYPT where he obtained his  MBChB degree. He advanced his career by obtaining a Master degree followed by PhD then was appointed to an Assistant Professor Surgery at the University of Mansoura.  He moved to the USA where he became Board certified in General Surgery following another general surgery residency and a Fellowship training at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.

For years, Dr. Selim’s has been devoted to educating new surgery residents, fellows and other surgeons the advances of surgery. Dr. Selim Travelled the world to expand his knowledge where he was invited to lecture and teach. 

He continues to be on the faculty of Tulane University and the University of Cairo. He serves in multiple administrative roles at the hospitals along being the CEO of Selim Surgery Center.

He is also a pilot and successfully merged the knowledge learned in airplanes cockpits to the operating room to enhance patients’ safety.
